Shaping Your Basket

If your basket needs reshaping either from shipping or just over time, they are easy to shape.  Wet, let stand a few minutes, roll on a flat service and or shape with your hands.  Let dry.  We like to put the bottom up to dry first, then flip the basket over.  They are grass so they can get wet, but can't stay wet. 

We don't recommend leaving your baskets outside permanently as over time due to the natural dyes they will fade. 

Caring for your Earrings

Clean your earrings using a damp cloth, make-up removal wipes or a baby wipe. To get a shine on the clay rub with a really soft cotton or felt cloth, for tough stains use nail polish remover but please beware this may remove some of the pigment from your earrings.  

Avoid tugging or pulling on your earrings and take care when removing the backs of earrings. Store your jewels in a cool dry place.

Jump rings, backs, posts and hooks are all hypoallergenic.

Shipping

We endeavour to get your order sent out within 2 days of payment, however we do not ship on the weekends or public holidays so it will be the trading day.
Some of the baskets will be flattened to keep the freight costs down in packaging so if you have purchased a basket you will need to reshape it for use, instructions will be provided with your basket.

Return 

Please choose carefully as we aren't obliged to give a refund for "change of mind" purchases however we are happy to credit you for your item. It must be within 7 days after you receive your item.  It must be in the same condition you received it.  Purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs.  We do not offer a refund on the shipping.     

Miscellaneous Information

Bolga baskets are made from grass that is twisted before its woven to give it more strength. They can really carry a lot of weight. However, they are not meant to carry loads of weight day after day. 

The dimensions of baskets are measured from rim to rim (outside) and from the floor to the top of the rim.  We do measure every basket but the dimensions are approximate. If a Market basket is not quite round, we take an average of both sides.
